Unable to see sonos speaker unless opening the app

1. My Huawei p30 pro phone easily sees my cast devices (Sonos included) but my p50 pocket I need to open Sonos app when the speaker was off.
2. I don't know why my Spotify doesn't see the speaker when scanning until I open the Sonos app first. This is temporary but annoying and am hopelessly searching for an answer because I can't see a similar problem anywhere.
3. I've tried everything from what spotify suggested and others from sonos self but no solution.
