Volume update bug in Connect from multiple devices

When playing music from one device to my Onkyo receiver (such as the desktop app), and then picking up control from another device (such as an iPhone), the volume can't be changed from the second device unless disconnecting and connecting to the Onkyo again on the second device. After doing so, the problem reverses and the previously volume control enabled device loses that ability. Basically, the device that last connected to the receiver using Connect has the volume control (everything else syncs up nicely - now playing, playback controls etc), but the app doesn't seem to know that this is the case (the control is available in the app, but nothing happens on the receiver end).
