Web Player grinding to a halt

Web Player grinding to a halt

I'm in a situation where I have a Windows 10 computer on which I'm not allowed to put new apps.  The Spotify Web Player worked fantastically as a work-around on my previous computers (running a corporately modded version of Windows 7), but it's having issues in Windows 10.  As time goes on, the music starts getting stutters like there's an issue with the streaming or audio processing.  This can take anywhere from 30 mins to two hours to turn up, but once it does, it gets progressively worse until I get a message saying "we're sorry but we can't stream right now; this is probably due to restrictions on your network" (which it clearly isn't, since it works fine for a while before that).  After that message appears, I typically have to restart my browser and sometimes my entire computer to get the Web Player to work again - for another 1-2 hours.  Then it's rinse and repeat.

Given that this is not a problem with any other audio/visual anything I use on this computer, I'm thinking it's not an issue with my audio processing.  I'm guessing there's a memory leak somewhere in the web-based app when used with Windows 10 and that the audio stutters are a sign of the buffer getting overfilled or some such.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Is there a known solution?
