Web player won't play using browser

My Question or Issue

 I open spotify web player in Chrome or internet explorer and it gives me this message: "This browser doesn't support Spotify Web Player. Switch browsers or download Spotify for your desktop". It has worked fine for the last couple of years - why is it suddenly not working? I have followed the steps in "enable the web player".

Unfortunately, the Internet Explorer isn't supported by Spotify anymore.

But your Google Chrome should work. Are you using the latest version of Google Chrome?

I too have been having the same problems. I believe i have the newest version of chrome. I just changed my laptop and isn't working
