Why can't I turn explicit on?

I was told to go to my settings and hit Explicit Content and turn it on. When I go to settings Explicit Content isn't even one of the options.

trying to get the explicit content filter on....following the instructions in multiple places, but not seeing the toggle anywhere on my account settings where the instructions say it should be.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

For starters, we'd like to clarify that the Explicit content filter option is not available in the web player. As you can see in this article, the feature is available when using the desktop app and the mobile app version.

On the desktop app, you can access it by clicking your Profile picture at the top-right. There, on the drop-down menu, select Settings> Explicit content:

On the mobile app version, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Tap the picture profile at the top-left of the screen.
2. Go to Settings and privacy. 
3. Tap Content and display> Allow explicit content. 

If perhaps you're unable to locate the option within the desktop app or the mobile app version, please let us know. Send us the make/model and OS of the affected device, along with the Spotify version you're running there.
