Why do all spotify public playlists shuffle?

Hello,

I am using Spotify from my iPhone XR in Canada. I turned the arrows so that there should be no shuffling of any playlist except I have noticed all of the playlists created by Spotify (Public Playlists) will shuffle the playlist if I close the app. Say I start at song 1 and get to 15 during a workout, when I come back the next day to start where I left off its all over the place. Is there anyway to change this?

Sorry for the delayed reply. We recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. You can check out how - here.

If the issue persists after the re-installation, we'd ask you to try if those playlists behave the same if you use another device, like a PC or a friend's phone. 

In the meantime you could try to copy all the songs from these playlists and put them in a new playlist and see if that helps. The easiest way to do this would be to use the desktop app where you can batch-select all the songs in the playlist using Ctrl+A/Command-A.
