Why does my public playlist looks messed up/tracks are missing when viewing it from a browser?

Solved!

Why does my public playlist looks messed up/tracks are missing when viewing it from a browser?

Hi admins/moderators,

Can you please advise what's going on with my playlist when viewed from a browser (tested it on Firefox and Chrome; both logged in and out)? The bottom two items seem to be adding repeated tracks, looking as if Spotify is bugged?

EDIT: It looks like the embedded playlist on this topic shows the latest track I've added is missing.

Please look at the attached screenshot from my PC app (first screenshot), the last two items are there (i.e., Ep10 & 11 of the 告 Radio podcast). I've also check through my mobile app (screenshot not attached) and the items look alright. Hence, I can conclude that my playlist is not 'broken' when viewing it from the app, though I cannot tell if it looks alright from another user's perspective 🤔

The 2nd screenshot shows what I see from the browser - and it obviously looks messed up.

Hey there @explosion_,

Thanks for the post.

We checked the playlist on our end, but it seems alright with no repeating tracks, when opened both on Mobile and PC.

Since you're using a free account, your playlists might look a bit different between the Desktop app and the Web Player, since they have different UI, which might explain the differences you're seeing.

Also, when you add/ remove a song from a playlists on one device it might take some time for the change to sync up to all your devices. This usually happens instantaneously, but certain networking restrictions can cause this process to become slower.

What you can try is checking if your playlists update instantly, while connected to another network like a mobile hotspot WiFi.

Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.
