Why does the music stop when i have songs on my queue list?

Why does the music stop when i have songs on my queue list?

When I'm playing a song in my laptop and then i add some other songs in my play queue, once the song i was listening to ends, the music stops or the app starts malfunctioning because of the queue list and so i can't queue songs anymore because if not, i can't listen to anything.

Hi @kataaa___, thanks for reaching out!

 

My first suggestion is that you restart Spotify - just close Spotify completely, by opening Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) on Windows or Activity Monitor on macOS, and ensure no Spotify processes are running.
- Reopen the app and try again.

 

You can also clear the Play Queue by clicking the "Queue" icon (three horizontal lines with a play icon) in the bottom-right corner.
- Click "Clear Queue" to remove all songs from the queue.
- Try adding new songs to the queue and see if the issue persists.

 

Don't forget to check if you're running the latest version of Spotify:
- On the desktop app, go to Help > About Spotify (Windows) or Spotify > About Spotify (Mac) to check for updates.
- If an update is available, download and install it.


Finally, logging out of your Spotify account (Profile > Log Out) and log back in to see if this refreshes the queue functionality.

 

These are basic troubleshooting solutions that might solve the issue.
