Why doesn't my Spotify doesn't play songs that I have played before?

Why doesn't my Spotify doesn't play songs that I have played before?

When it comes to the end of a song I have chosen Spotify starts to play songs that I've never listen to before which is great sometimes, but I also want to listen to music that i've listened to before.

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out!

When you reach the end of an album, playlist, or selection of songs, Spotify automatically plays similar songs so the music never stops via the Autoplay feature. Autoplay isn't restricted to new songs only, which means that it should mix in both listened to & new songs. I believe that the Autoplay selection in your case has been more down to luck/ chance than anything else 🙂

Hope you'll find this info helpful! We're here for you in case there's anything else.
