Why doesn't my "Following" list show all the artists I follow?

Why doesn't my "Following" list show all the artists I follow?

I'm trying to figure out why my "Following" list for my account doesn't show all the artists I follow?  And I'm not talking about my "Artists" tab on the left, that only I can see, I'm talking about the account list that other people should be able to see.  I currently follow 515 artists, yet when I scroll through that list (which is only haphazardly alphabetical) it goes through the letter O and lists Oasis, then abruptly lists Alicia Keys, Beastie Boys, and Lillix at the end, then stops.  So, in other words, my friends can only see the artists I follow whose names start with A through O?  Huh?  This makes no sense.  I want them to be able to see all the artists I'm following, the same way I want to see all theirs, to discover new music.

Also, while I'm here, can anyone tell me why this list is semi-alphabetical, but not completely?  This is baffling to me - some of the artists are grouped in order, but then there are others that just appear in totally random places.  If Spotify has software that's listing the followed artists by name, how in the world does it only do it for *some* of them but not all?  Overall I've really enjoyed my free trial and want to continue using the app, but this whole disorganized mess regarding the followed artist list is really turning me off.
