Why is only classical music playing in autoplay?

Why is only classical music playing in autoplay?

Whenever I finish listening to one of my playlists, Spotify immediately starts playing instrumentals/classical music. When I go to the queue, every single song is an instrumental/classical song, and no matter what I do it only plays that type of music. Nothing with words. Playing a playlist works just fine, but once the playlist is done it starts to play those types of songs. I can skip fifty songs ahead and it doesn't play anything else.

I have no instrumental/classical songs on ANY of my self-created playlists, in my liked songs or in my saved playlists, nor am I following anyone who makes instrumental/classical music. No matter what I do, I can't get Spotify to stop.

Hey @Ruefully, that's so strange. Have you tried Excluding some of the songs from your taste profile? In the mobile app, you select the three dots next to a suggested track to do so, and on mobile, you right-click the track.

It may not do anything, but clearing your cache in settings could also be worth trying.

Thankfully, this has already stopped happening so I don't need to fix it anymore lol.

But in case anyone has a similar issue, I've actually already cleared my cache a few times, due to my school computer being very slow, and it didn't do anything. I'm not really sure what fixed the problem, but skipping all the way to the end of my queue several times eventually made it start playing music similar to the stuff in my liked playlist. It also started playing all the songs from my liked playlist, and the top of the queue said "from liked songs", even though when I checked my liked playlist wasn't playing. I don't know if that's something that spotify just does though. I skipped to the end of those songs and now it's totally normal again.

If it makes any difference, I was using a free spotify account, not a premium one :]
