Why won’t Spotify let me keep the volume loud?

Everytime I go to playback and I set the volume to loud it automatically goes back to quiet after I exit the page. Please help

Just to confirm, is this happening across devices or only on a specific one?

If this only happens on a single device, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. 

If this doesn't do the trick, could you check if the OS of your device has any pending updates?
