(Windows 11): Remove the volume-bar, because it already exists Win+Ctrl+V

(Windows 11): Remove the volume-bar, because it already exists Win+Ctrl+V

As Windows 11 has it's own Volume Mixer again, I would remove or synchronize the Volume-Mixer from the Spotify app.

Also, as you can see, Spotify is currently appearing multiple times. Can you fix that?

Hey there @Richard5A,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

That being said, we’d suggest trying a clean performance of the app on your computer to see if you notice any difference in the volume mixer. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience. You can find out the steps to do it here.

If the above doesn’t do the trick, we’d like to gather some additional info. Would you mind sharing with us the exact Spotify version you’re running there? Has the app always been behaving like this or did it start to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? Does this happen when playing Spotify through some Bluetooth device such as a speaker? Please send us the details about it.

Now, regarding your idea, feel free to post it again. Make sure you follow our Idea Exchange guidelines, so other users can share their support easily. When having issues with the app, the best way to go is porting here in our Help boards, so we can investigate further.

Keep us in the loop!
