My Question or Issue

 

Hi,

 

I had to create a new spotify account because it was not possible to change / update my e-mail address for my old account.

I see my old playlist when using my new account but I can't add songs to my old playlists. Any idea / suggestion?

Hey @Trinityss,

 

Welcome to the Spotify Community! Personally I'd suggest creating playlists with the same names on your new account and copy the songs from your old playlists in there. 

 

You'll then be the owner of the playlists and you'll be able to make changes to it. You can even give them a fun cover and description! More on that here 🙂

Thanks for your quick reply!

I followed your suggestion and merged my old with my new playlist.

Though it took some time to figure out that only the desktop app can edit playlists...
