friend activity is not working

HI! Spotify is telling me to turn on activity to see and display music on friends activity feed, but I have everything toggled on, and still message is there. Having this problem for over a year.

I did clean reinstall, restarting system, logged of and in. I'm having this problem on pc and laptop, two devices. Did reinstalling and every basic solving steps, but nothing helped. I'm sure there's a problem with account rather than device. Friend's can see my activity, while i have this screen telling me to go to setting and on my activity(it is on). Also someone said you don't need to be signed in facebook, but I also can't connect to my facebook.

I've had the exact same issue. Heard through people in real life that changing to a brand new account should help, and so I did that with the help of customer support. I had a new account created with a different email and had my old data transferred to the new one, so i could keep liked songs and playlists.
