make the remote function actually work

make the remote function actually work

my idea is that the remote function actually does its frickin job, it's kinda useless yand really annoying if i have to physically walk over to my PC every other time because the app on my phone wont sync or says its offline or the desktop is recognized but it doesn't react to any input... like, just make the basic functionality work instead of adding a bunch of unwanted features all the time. the remote is actually the only thing keeping me with you, else i would have switched to tidal a long time ago

Hey there @manu123456789,

When using the Connect function, make sure all your devices have good internet coverage for the connection to remain stable.

If your internet connection is strong & steady, I'd advise performing a complete clean reinstall of the app on the affected devices to ensure there are no corrupted files interrupting the connection 🙂

Note: This will remove the currently downloaded content for offline listening. It will redownload the next time you open the app.

Hope this helps!

What a terrible mod reply. You produce the service, you make it work. Your service drops out constantly under real world circumstances. It's not the user's problem, it's your problem. Dealing with an "interrupted connection" is 100% your problem to solve and it is a problem which has been solved already thousands of times by thousands of programmers, if this is too much for you to cope with then go copy them but do solve it.

Sincerely, a 50 year old software engineer.
