mixes don't allow me to select specific songs

My Question or Issue

recently, i went on vacation to japan, and when spotify prompted me to change my account region to japan, my spotify on mobile wouldn't let me pick specific songs to play from any of the daily mixes, artist mixes etc. 

when i got back from vacation, and changed my account region back, spotify still wouldn't let me choose specific songs from any of the mixes. this issue has persisted for over two weeks at this point, how do i fix it?

things i've tried:

- uninstall/reinstall

- logging out and then back in

This type of issue is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device. We understand you’ve already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling, but to be sure that we're on the same page - did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article?

If so and the issue persists, since this could be also related to country restrictions, make sure you've changed your location to your current country by following the steps mentioned in this article. 

Lastly, include in your next response the OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
