I'm getting an "opps" error when I try to link my spotify premium account with the iOS Alexa app. I've confirmed the username/email/password are correct. Plus I've change my password. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Alexa app. Additionally I tried revoking Alex access from within my spotify account via webpage. Nothing has worked.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for the help!
Hey @spacemanspiffff,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!
Can you try using a different Internet connection, like mobile data or another WiFi network to see if that does the trick?
It's also worth trying from a different device. If the issue persists, could you send us a screenshot of the error message to have a closer look?
Keep us posted. We'll be on the lookout.
Hey @CarlosE, thanks for the response.
I tried linking from different internet connections...no luck.
Here's a screenshot of the error.
Hi @spacemanspiffff,
Thanks for the reply.
Can you try running a clean reinstall of Spotify, following the instructions in this Guide. Sometimes corrupted/old cache can cause issues such as this one.
You can also try reinstalling the Alexa app, as well as clearing all app cache and data.
Let us know if that helped.
Hi again @spacemanspiffff,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Just to confirm, were you able to test this using a different device? Did you notice the same behavior?
We'll be on the lookout.
