I received a password reset request to my email without my knowledge, what should I do? Is it from Spotify or was it sent by someone else?

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Receiving a password reset link in your email inbox is nothing to be worried about, because this only means that someone put your email address in the password reset form, probably by mistake.

On the other hand though it'd be best to not open any links from emails you're suspicious about. If you relay the email you've received to spoof@spotify.com, our team can investigate it.
