Hey folks,
Thanks for posting on the Community!
We just wanted to jump in here to let you know you can report any concerns you have about an advert in this thread. Similar to what you seem to be describing, you can report that the ad might be in the wrong language, the ad volume is too loud, the frequency of the ad, etc. We'll get your feedback passed on to the right folks from there.
Cheers 🙂
spotify just doesn't know what to give their users. i listen to death metal and my ads are pop trap and cumbia, which are popular here in argentina, but i've never actually liked a single one of those songs, so i hit the "not relevant" button but they just keep popping up
I've been getting ADF (Australian Defense Force Career) ads every single time the 10 minute ad break hits. Yes, planes are cool, but I do not need to hear the same company ever 10 minutes for several months across 4 different ad variations. Similarly, I've also received ads for Cindy Lauper's tour. Yes that is cool, but far out, I've heard her songs more from the ads than my playlist at this point.
I don't mind the ads, in-fact they are quite fitting, but I'm just so surprised theres no rotation between ads.
Ive got a large amount of BP ads for the last few months now and the amount of them ain't the problem, but the EXACT same add playing right after the next. I agree that Spotify is a business and must make money like others do, but the fact that i've keep getting the same add replayed after right after the same one makes me considering to quit Spotify, and makes me wonder if this method of bombarding users with ads is the correct way for organisations to advertise themselves. I don't think that bombarding me with lower cost beans and chocolate buttons for 3 months is going to make me buy them more often, in fact they make me not want to buy them at all. Clicking "i've seen this add to much" doesn't seem to do much either. But it is what it is. 👍
Same here, **bleep** cancer fundraisers ads on repeat, a thumbs down or clicking the reason makes no difference at all.
Its really off putting , you maybe in a good mood then there's another Cancer ad, is it spotify trying to make me pay for premium? its not going to work.
