Podcasts Video playback won't play on Car Bluetooth

This has been an ongoing problem for well over a year. Today I was pulling up JRE to play on a road trip and was planning on watching the video while we all listened. Once again, when I connect to the bluetooth, the video doesn't play. It's just a black screen where the video should be.

I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it but that doesn't work. If this is some type of safety feature, I feel like they would have at least acknowledged it at some point? This is something that we should be able to change in our own settings for the app.

Even if it were a safety feature, this for sure should not be in place because they are preventing paid users to access content they spend their money on. I should have the choice to do whatever I want and not be told I can't access certain features I pay for while driving unless it is expressed in the terms and conditions.

Anybody else experiencing this? If anyone has any answers I'd appreciate it.

Likely will disco my family plan because of it. We used watch as a passenger on road trips. I also have sit in my vehicle for hours sometimes for ferry travel. Guess I will get YT premium instead
