Adding premium account to premium for family

Hi there,

Me and my brother used to have seperate accounts but are now trying to use Premium for Family. My brother upgraded his account to Premium for Family and invited me, but unfortunately I can't accept his invitation. I actually accidentaly also upgraded my own account to Premium for Family. What did I do wrong? I already have a Spotify Premium account, do I need to cancel that in order to accept his invitation? 

We live at the same address so that shouldn't be a problem...

Hey @Ala88! Thanks for writing.

Keep in mind that only accounts that have a Free or Premium subscription directly with Spotify are able to join a Premium for Family plan.

Since you're the owner of a plan of your own, you'll need to cancel your subscription with these steps. Once you've done it and your account reverts to Free, you'll be able to join your brother's plan.
