Apparrently updating my address doesn't count as "confirm your address"?

Apparrently updating my address doesn't count as "confirm your address"?

My husband, the family plan manager, got an email saying I needed to log on and confirm my address for the family plan.

So I logged on the website, went to profile->account->address, and updated it.

But then later he got a website saying I failed to put in my address and am now kicked off the family plan for a year?

 

I didn't get any notification on the app nor on the website that I had to do anything else-- is there a way for me to fix this now?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.

 

We're sorry to hear that this has happened.

 

If Spotify suspects that you aren't residing at the same address as the plan manager, you and the manager will get a notification, after which you'll have 7 days to verify the address, before you're removed from the plan automatically.

 

You'll need to contact our customer support team through one of the channels here, so that they can unlock your account and you can re-join the family plan.
