Audiobooks for Premium Family members

Audiobooks for Premium Family members

Why is it, that more than 18 months after its implementation, is the audio book option still only available to the plan manager, and if a member of my plan wants to listen to an audio book, I have to purchase hours for them individually? 
When will the required change be implemented to allow all plan members access to audiobooks?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

 

Right now, Audiobooks in Premium is available only on select plans and is limited to plan managers. But this is something that will be explored in the future to allow Family and Duo users to have more flexibility from their audiobooks access 🙂

Hi Maxim, I understand that "the changes are on the way", however they have been on the way for 18months. 

 

The article you link is over 12 months old. 

 

Is there a timeline for when the "fix" (aka the actual functionality) will be rolled out?

I've double-checked the info I provided with someone from Spotify, and it's the most up-to-date info.
