Can't add to family plan and owner name not mine

My Issue

Everytime i try to invite my girlfriend to my family plan, it keeps giving her and error and also the owners name on the invite is not mine. Any help would be appreciated. As far as i know, no one else has access to my account.

Thanks for getting in touch.

 

That's odd! Have you been asked to submit your own address? If you have, could you ask the rest to ignore the name and submit their address as well?

 

If you haven't been asked for your address, it means that there is already an address attached to your account (possibly Katrins). We can't say for sure how her details got there, but we know it's not possible to change the address once it's set. So you'll have to close your account and create a new one.

 

No worries, if you make sure your music collection is stored in public playlists, you can visit your old account with your new account and grab all your songs from there. You’ll be able to visit your old account by putting the following string in the search bar:  spotify:user:username

 

Don't forget to replace username with your own username. Oh and by the way, If you want to use the same email address for your new account, you'll have to close your old account. You'll have 7 days to visit your old account and find your music there. You’ll also need to cancel your subscription on your old account.
