Can't connect to spotify family with 2nd invitation

Can't connect to spotify family with 2nd invitation

Hello,

I was initially connected to the family account of my step brother for a few weeks, but got kicked out because our addresses did not match (I had not updated my old address by then). 

once my home address was correctly updated, my step brother then sent me a 2nd invite (the 1st one no longer worked), in order for me to connect again to the family account.

The invitation worked as it connected me to a form asking me to give my name and home address, + CAPCHA and all. I informed everything and once i hit the "confirm" button, I obtained an error message in red telling me (in French) "vous ne pouvez pas rejoindre cet abonnement spotify famille, besoin d'aide, cliquez ici: ".

I think the problem may come from the fact that I've been sent 2 invitations?

How can i fix this knowing the 1st mail invite no longer worked?

Hi @DawnGf, thanks for writing.

 

Sometimes the information once given to Spotify (regarding the users’ addresses) don’t match the ones they have. The data might be incorrect, incomplete or outdated, hence the removal of some users.

 

In this case I suggest you get in touch with the Spotify Cares staff - They'll be happy to help you further with this.

 

There are a few ways to contact them. One is filling out the online contact form.

 

Another great way is to reach Spotify via Twitter - just send them a Direct Message @SpotifyCares.

 

You can also use the Facebook support. Shoot them a message here: Spotify Cares.

 

When you message them, inform all the e-mail addresses on the plan.
