Change to family subscription: delayed automatic renewal

Change to family subscription: delayed automatic renewal

Hi,

 

My partner just changed his premium subscription to a family subscription. When we try to add my account to the family plan everything seems ok on the website but I don't receive an invite. When looking at his account details it says that the subscription will be automatically renewed to family in two days. Does the missing invite has something to do with this? If so, do I need to wait two days before I get my invite or can we speed up the process some how?! We just want to pay now and get on with the family plan. Please help.

Thanks for reaching out to us, we'll do our best to help you out.

 

If you aren't receiving the email invite from your partner's Premium for Family plan, ask them to try sending you the invite again using a different browser or an incognito window.

 

If that doesn't do the trick, you can also try updating your Spotify account's email address by logging in here. Ask your partner to send the invite to the new email address and check if you receive it.

 

After trying the options above, and you're still unable to receive the email to join the plan, it's best to contact our Support team via Facebook or Twitter.
