Changing your country when you are already in a premium plan

I was a student in US and had spotify premium student there. Now I am back home in India and I want to get added to out premium family account but spotify is not allowing me to change the country so I cannot get added to our family plan.

Hey there,

If you're currently on Premium, you can only update your account's country setting by updating your payment method to one that's been issued in the country you'd like to change your country setting to.

Alternatively, you can cancel your current subscription. Once you're back on Spotify Free, you can update your country setting directly through a dropdown menu.
