Code is invalid

Code is invalid

Signed my daughter up for family plan.  She can get in and then invited me to join.  The subscription code is 'invalid.' I understand the nuances of making sure what needs to be capitalized is and lower case, etc.  Still receiving same message.

We'd recommend sending the invitation once again and try to redeem it from an incognito window or a different browser.

I received a code from the family plan but the same says it is invalid, I tried the cell phone and the computer and it does not work.

If this is still happening, can we check:
1) Are you following these steps: 

https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/subscription_information/premium-for-family/

2) Does restarting your device/router help?

3) Does trying in an incognito window help?

Hello, 

Could anyone solve the problem?

I have the same situation, I received a family code but it says that is invalid. I have already tried over and over  and the owner of the account resend the code but nothing happens. We do live in the same address, and I have tried it in different windows, devices.

No, I didn't get it fixed. We tried several times resending the invitation and the code still doesn't work. I will cancel my subscription at the end of the week. Sorry. Not happy with this service.


I sent an email for support@spotify.com and they replied at the same moment. They apologized and changed some information that were wrong on their system. The owner of the family account resent the code and now its everything right!

Try to send an email and see if they can help. good luck.
