Family Plan Invitation Problem

Family Plan Invitation Problem

I signed up for Premium for Family, but my family can't set their accounts up.  The "Accept Invitation" link opens a normal Spotify login page with Facebook or email/ password options, not the page with the pre-filled token and a "Redeem" button as described in the FAQ.

The link will always take the person to the log in page prior to continuing the process to add to family. Have you continued it and were unable to add them?

How are they supposed to continue from the login page?  If they log in as me then they will just access my account.  The invitation code given in the emails doesn't work as a password and there's no obvious (at least to us) path for them to follow to creating their own accounts.
