Family Plan error

Family Plan error

Recently I have purchsed the family plan. I have 2 errors currently one is I invited a family member to the plan they accepted, there account is on premium but it shows up as they haven't accepted yet. The other problem is im trying to invite another member to the plan so its 6 but when I hover over the button to invite my mouse turns into a red circle with a line across it so like a no symbol and it does not allow me to invite another member. Is this a bug or should I cancel my plan and start again?

Hey @kguimin! Welcome to the Spotify Community 🙂

 

Regarding the first error, was their account on premium before he subscribed to your Spotify Family account, or does it show premium, because he subscribed to your account? Could he check on this website, under where it says Premium, if he is paying for a Premium standalone subscription, or if he is added to a Spotify Family. 

 

For the second issue you have, I unfortunately need to tell you that you can only invite a maximum of 5 people plus you. So if the sixth person you're trying to add, adds up to 7 people, spotify won't allow that.

For my second error I currently have 5 members in total so, me and 4 othes and im trying to add a 6th member but it doesn't give me the option, when I hover over the invite I get a no symbol on my mouse. So I was wondering if theres a fix or should I just cancel my subscription and retry at the end of the month.

Having no spotify premium isn't cool! Usually these kind of things happen, because of your web browsers cache. So try doing the following things:
Try adding your member in a private/incognito tab.
If that doesn't work, change browser and clear both browsers cache.
Lastly if that doesn't work either, try changing the credit card information on another device, that should do the trick!
