Family account, my son can't accept my invite.

Family account, my son can't accept my invite.

We have a family premium account and I'm the administrator. I've now invited my son and when he press "accept invitation" link in the e-mail, he comes to a page stating that he can't join premium for family since he is already a member... I don't have him as active among my invitations and he is 7 years old so the chance of him being a member elsewhere are slim. Anyone who knows how I can get this to work?

I've tried to reset his account based on the e-mail address, however Spotify says there's no such account...

Thank you for reaching out to us, we'll gladly help you with this.

 

For your son and family members to join the plan, they each need to have their own Spotify accounts set up first. Make sure they're logged in the correct Spotify account before accepting the invite.

 

You can also try using a different browser or an incognito window to accept the plan invite.
