This is just so annying, I am unable to invite my wife to join family account just because she is abroad.

The reason Spotify makes you be at the same address to join Spotify Family is so you cannot send invites to random people to get Spotify Premium for cheaper.

So you suggest I cancel for now my Family membership until we are back from
holidays next Month?
