My Question or Issue

One family member who has been on my family account since Day 1 had just been switched to the "free" plan without his knowledge.  We live in the same household and after reading some FAQ, it appears that he failed to confirm his address within 7 days from the initial email sent by Spotify.  Now the response I see on my account is that plan member cannot verify the address therefore cannot join my plan for another 12 months.  I find this response is very absolute with no way to reverse it and wondering if there is another chance for the said family member to reconfirm his address?
