Family plan address annoyance

There doesn't seem to be anywhere else to vent about the dumb address setup for the family plan. We've been trying for a few days now to figure out what address to enter so my partner can get premium back and we're not having any luck.

I don't understand what the system is trying to achieve, if people want to falsify their address they can just put an easy to type fake address instead of their real, difficult-to-format-correctly address.

It's frustrating that so many users have needed to waste subscription fees and time creating new accounts to overcome a needlessly obstructive system.

If there is a solution other than "delete your account, pay again, and stuff around transferring over your playlists", I'd love to hear it.

Hey @SolveMySpotify, thanks for writing.

We get how you feel. Keep in mind that the Premium for Family address is registered when you send your first invite and the system asks you to enter that info.

But don't worry, can you remove the invite you sent to your partner and send a new one? Once they get it, ask them to try and redeem it from a different device or a desktop computer (using an incognito window, if possible), and entering your address as if you were receiving a mail delivery.
