My Question or Issue

A feature request for any Spotify product managers listening. I am the account holder for our Family Premium account. I do not listen to audio books, but a family member on the plan does. Unfortunately, Spotify does not provide a method to allow a designated family member to use that feature.

Without a change to the product, the only way to "fix" this problem is to cancel our account and have that individual become the new account holder. It's a less-than-ideal solution to a problem that feels easy to fix.

Hey @Huuuze,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Right now, Audiobooks in Premium is available only on select plans and is limited to plan managers. But this is something that will be explored in the future to allow Family and Duo users to have more flexibility from their audiobooks access 🙂

For more info, you can also visit the following Newsroom article: https://newsroom.spotify.com/2023-10-03/audiobooks-included-in-spotify-premium/.

Hope this clears things up!

Thank you for responding. I'd still like to see something more official from Spotify. This feature, which is included as part of my monthly bill, is handicapped for no clear reason.

Hey there @Huuuze,
