Help Calculating Spotify Subscription Discounts

Help Calculating Spotify Subscription Discounts

Hi everyone,

I’ve been considering switching to a Premium Family plan, but I’m trying to work out if it’s truly cost-effective for my household. When comparing it to individual subscriptions, I want to calculate the exact percentage savings, especially when factoring in occasional promotional offers.

I’ve been using <snip - Moderator Edit> to double-check my math, which has been super handy. But does anyone know if Spotify provides detailed cost breakdowns or savings comparisons when you switch plans?

Would love to hear your thoughts—thanks in advance!

Hey, @stey99
Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us here!

It would be very simple to determine if the Family plan is worth it. Remember that on the Premium Family plan, you will have access to up to 6 individual accounts for a promotional price, which will depend on your country. If there are more than two people in your household, and they all use Spotify, the Premium Family is the right plan for you. On the other hand, if there are just two people in your household, I would recommend the Premium Duo (if available in your country).

In summary, the Duo and Family plans are great options because each member will have an individual account and will be able to track their favorite artists, albums, and songs without mentioning the podcasts.

I hope that this makes everything more clear!

Stay awesome!

Let me know if you have further questions or need anything else! I'd love to help!
