How does my 13 year old make an account in Ireland for Family Premium?

Spotify clearly advertises that Spotify Kids is for 12 and under only, including during account sign up. My child is 13. I would like them to have Spotify on Spotify Family but the system will not let him make a linked account under age 16. This is mis-selling by Spotify if true. There is no box allowing him to say that his parents authorise his membership. What do we do? Please, Spotify, do not give evasive answers - tell us whether it really is true that someone aged 13 cannot have an account in Ireland under Irish law (it is posted nowhere), and if they can, please tell us how they do so. Spotify Kids is completely infantilising for a 13 year old.
