I can't join Premium Family due to an error.

I can't join Premium Family due to an error.

I received a link from the owner of the Premium Family to join, but after entering the address, which is the same one as the owners, I get an error message that something went wrong, try again later. It happens on both mobile phone and laptop. I was subscribed for Premium Duo where I was the owner, but I unsubscribed thinking that maybe that was causing the issue, but the error persists. Can you please help as my Premium Duo will end soon and I need to have access to Family Premium?

Thanks for reaching out.


If you're the owner of a Premium Duo/Family plan and would like to join someone else's Duo/Family plan, you'll first need to cancel your subscription and then wait until your account reverts back to Spotify Free.

If you're the owner of a Premium Duo/Family plan and would like to join someone else's Duo/Family plan, you'll first need to cancel your subscription and then wait until your account reverts back to Spotify Free.
