Impossible to add a new member to my family account

Impossible to add a new member to my family account

Hi, 

 

I'm struggling with my family account (France).

I'm the owner and since a while i can't add other people on it. 

4 slots are working well and I have 2 slots still available. 

When i share my link to add somebody, he can't achieve the connexion.

When he try to put the address of my account, it doesnt exist. 

I try to find a place close to me but it doesnt work either. 

Do i have to change my adress ? If i do that, the 4 members already here will loose the permission to be connected to me ? 

Why before it was ok, and not now ?

I really need to know cause i work with that.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Have you tried using a Google Plus Code yet?

 

You can find the Plus Code for your address here on Google Maps, which will be a combination of letters and numbers in the format XXXX+XX.

 

If you run into an error while entering the Plus Code, try adding the city and country after it.

 

And keep in mind that when your Premium Family members accept the invite, they’ll need to enter the same Plus Code to match. Your existing plan members may be asked to confirm their address.

But do i have to change the adresse of my main account with the same code before ? 

And if i do that, can the others members keep the access ? 

 

Because i tried and it's mentioned that now it's not the same address... 😕

Yeah, you'd have to update the address for the entire plan, otherwise it won't work. 🙂

 

That's why you need to make sure that the members enter the same Plus Code to match, and your existing plan members may be asked to confirm their address again.

 

Before doing that, though, you can ask them to try accepting the invite using a different browser/device.
