Invite family member to plan

Hello,

 

I have the family plan. My dad said that he used to be able to enter my email address and my password and then he could log in to his account on my plan. He just got a new phone and now he says that when he does that now, he can just connect to my account, he's not able to access his anymore. The only way that I think I can get him connected to his account again is by first removing him from the plan and then adding him again and then I think I can send him an invitation. Does anyone know if he will lose his playlists if I remove him from the plan? Or know of a different way of sending him another invite? Or maybe he's supposed to enter his own email address and password?

Removing someone from the Family Plan only switches their account to the free service.
Playlists will remain unchanged.

Aside from that though, only one email per account is allowed. If he uses your log-in data, he'd land in your profile.
If he had been a Family member, he should have his own account, as well as an email & a password connected to those.
