Invited family members fail on trying to join my premium family subscription

Invited family members fail on trying to join my premium family subscription

My Question or Issue

I am having a premium family subscription and have invited a few family members. If they want to join, they fail because the address is not the same. I cannot see my registered address in my account information, neither in the android app nor in the web browser. In my profile, I only see Switzerland. Adding my Swiss address in the join process just throws the error that the address is not the same. Furthermore, I am not able to change my address in any way. There is a link on the 'Edit profile'-page that leads to a help page with other links which redirect me back to the profile page. I am feeling fooled. If it is not possible for my wife and daughter to join the premium family subscription I don't know for what the subscription is useful. It is too complicated and I don't care the limitations of the verification process. I am annoyed and am loosing my time. Thinking about to cancel the subscription.

I am having the same issue even when it finds my address this morning in New Zealand. I wonder if there is an issue with the address matching?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

 

You should be able to see or update the address for your Premium Family plan on this page. Just make sure you're logged into the account that owns the plan.

many thanks for the hint. Now I am able to see my registered address.
Anyway, my family is not able to join the invitations, still because of the same reason: Address does not match, even though it is exactly the same address as visible on that page.
I have the feeling that there is an IP address check and if it is located somewhere else then it is denied. This would be a kind of pseudo security to avoid that subscribers invite people that do not live at the same address. If it is really the trick then it is a stupid policy because if I want to invite non-family members I still can do it simply by inviting them one time for lunch into my home. 

I have the same issue, impossible to add my daughter even if it's the same adress.

I have the following message:

It looks like you're trying to join a Family subscription from another country. Family subscriptions are only available for family members living in the same household. Please try again when you are at the same address.

 

 

 

can you, please, resolve the issue quickly
