Invited to Fam Plan, switching to my own fam plan

My Question or Issue

I was invited to a family plan by a roommate who is now moving out - I'll get a new family plan for the house. 1. Whats the best way to do this and not lose any music/podcasts? 2. What will I lose? Favorites? Downloaded Pods? Downloaded Music?

If you were invited to the Family plan but want to switch to a different plan (create a new Family plan in your case), you first need to Log in to your account page > CANCEL PREMIUM. You can sign up to any plan after that. 

Once you cancel the Premium plan, you can now choose the Family plan here. You will not lose any saved content on your account, so no need to worry about that.
