Is there any difference in UX for a Premium user and a Family plan member?

Solved!

Is there any difference in UX for a Premium user and a Family plan member?

I can't seem to find a straight answer on this, I'm trying to find out if I join a family plan (not the administrator) as a Premium member, will my user experience change? I.e. Will my playlist remain? Will people subscribed to my public playlists still be subscribed? Will my preferences stay the same? Also, would the administrator be able to see what music I listen to or see my playlists?

Basically, is the only thing that's different with the family account the billing?

Thanks

Hey @nonchalant-man! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Great question! With Spotify Premium for Family every family member gets their own account completely separate from the others. The plan owner won't be able to see what you listen to/your playlists. Be sure to check your privacy settings on that one. Just keep in mind that you all need to live at the same address to be eligible for Spotify Premium for Family.

Let me know if there's anything else!

Have a lovely day! 🙂
