Just upgraded to family plan and cannot find how to set up area for new family member

Been trying for five hours now and going round in circles. Upgraded to premium family plan this morning, sent email invite to partner, who followed the instructions in it but is just being led back to my Spotify account. How does he set up his own area and start his own playlists? PLEASE HELP! I can not find any information anywhere. All we want to do (reason I upgraded) is to both listen to Spotify at the same time.

They'll need to have their own account set up. If they don't have one yet, they can make one here.

Once their account is made, you'll be able to follow the steps listed here to invite them to your plan.
