Moving to another country, will it affect family members to rejoin the plan?

My Question or Issue

We currently live in Japan, but are considering going to the Philippines to live for a while.

I am the manager of the family plan, and I want to renew it in the Philippines when the current subscription expires.

My sister just joined the plan about 7 months ago, will she be unable to rejoin my family plan due to the restriction that each account can only change the family once a year?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

If the manager of the Premium Family plan that you're in cancels their plan and re-subscribes, and invites the same subscriber, it’s not counted as a change of plan for the subscriber.

This means that you should have no issues re-joining the same plan in the Philippines. 🙂

You most likely need to change the country setting on your accounts, though. You can find info on how to do this here.

Also, if you are all only going to stay there for a few months and don't mind paying the Japanese Premium Family price, you can leave the plan as it is without doing any changes.

If you'll be staying there for a year or longer, you should change country and re-subscribe, as described above.
