Hi, My 2 kids and I want to use our spotify premium family account to stream music on multiple devices. When one of them starts to use spotify in their room on their echo, it turns the music off in the kitchen on my google home. What to do?
Thanks. Jeannine

Thanks this is really helpful. I will recommend you. But my kids are young, one doesn't have a cell phone to personalize her listening. They just say "Alexa, play xyz song on Spotify" and it defaults to my user name, maybe because I'm the premium family manager. Should they try to identify themselves verbally by saying "play xyz song on the user account called _______?"
I don't own any Amazon Echo/Google Home devices, so I don't know if it's possible to log into another Spotify account (using username/email & password) via voice control.
I should also mention that the Spotify Service is not directed to children under the age of 13.
Hey @jeanninelar,
I'd recommend making sure that the Amazon Echo and Google Home devices are using different Spotify accounts.
That should resolve this issue 🙂
Thank you, Maxim! Do you mean different accounts within our one premium family spotify account? I'm new to this...do you know if I change the settings on my Echo Alexa app to connect the Echos to the correct user in our spotify family premium? Thanks very much.
Yes, that is correct.
