My Question or Issue

 I have upgraded from my student account to family not only to surprise my family this christmas as I have a better paying job. But to also get the Google Home Mini. I have not recieved any email yet though. I have clicked on links I have seen here on the community post like this https://www.spotify.com/us/googlehome/register/ But I get

"Thank you so much for your interest.
We're sorry to say this offer is not available at this time.

We'll be sure to let you know about new offers in the future."

 

However the offer isn't even expired yet.  I have seen how this offer was avalible for users who haven't signed up for family premium which I have now. I am curious to the average time it takes to send a email out. Because if I am not getting the mini I'll just switch back to student account and come up with a different plan for Christmas

Having the same issue... despite after signing up for the family plan, the site saying to be on the look out for the google home mini email.

Well according to chat, even tho Spotify website says they will send you an email with the offer... They wont. 

 

They said the promotion is now over and the "limited stock" is now gone. 

 

Very disapointing... Wanted to try how this would work with a speaker to just tell it a song etc, but now nothing. Guess no point in keeping Spotify now. 

If it is over then it shouldn't have been advertised as active on the website.  A waste of money I guess.

Guess I should have done this sooner but with how I was going to gift the family accounts I was waiting a little closer to Christmas.

Yea. Anyone able to screen capture the offer as of today? Cause I kinda
wanna have them dig deeper into this. Feel like I was mislead into signing
up for an offer thats "expired".

This is the closest thing I have. I had this tab pulled up in the back as I was going to use the printer to print it as I do with all reciepts.

The terms here: https://www.spotify.com/us/legal/premium-for-family-supplemental-offer-terms/ say

"2. The offer.
Eligible Users (as defined below) are entitled, subject to these Supplemental Offer Terms, to receive a Google Home Mini device (each a “GHM Device”) at the advertised price with this Supplemental Offer. Google, and not Spotify, is liable for each GHM Device. GHM Devices are only available for redemption for as long as supplies last. Only one Supplemental Offer may be applied to each Primary Account Holder (as defined below).

This Supplemental Offer is available for a limited period only and ends after the date advertised. Spotify reserves the right to modify or to earlier terminate this Supplemental Offer at any time and for any reason. Spotify shall not be obligated to redeem any further attempts to take up this offer after the earlier of (a) this Supplemental Offer expiring; (b) this Supplemental Offer being earlier terminated; or (c) supplies of GHM Devices running out."

 

However Spotify would have mentioned if they terminated it and the picture shouldn't even be on the page saying I am eligible I screenshotted. They could have even said that in the picture fine print "Spotify reserves the right to modify or to earlier terminate this Supplemental Offer at any time and for any reason. " I feel weaseled into wasting money if this is terminated without them even saying. But still showing me that I am eligible.  It's just a bad business tactic.
