Premium Family 12 months rejoin error

Hi Team,

Our Spotify Premium Family plan got over yesterday. I am trying to join the new Premium Family plan started by the plan manager but on clicking the invite link I get the following error:

You can’t join this plan

You can join someone else’s Premium plan only once every 12 months.

Still want to change plans? We’ll help you find another Premium plan that’s right for you.

I am sure that I have not joined any other plan in the last 12 months.

Can you please help me with the workaround?

Thanks for reaching out.

You're seeing the error message because you've been part of at least two Premium Family/Duo plans within the last 12 months. Those plans must've been created by different Spotify accounts.

In this case, you can...

1. re-join the Family/Duo plan you were last in. As long as the plan is created by the same account as the one you were last in, it'll work.
2. subscribe to Premium Individual at https://spotify.com/premium
3. wait until the 12 months since your last switch have passed
4. create a new account at https://spotify.com/signup

My Question or Issue

Can't join a family plan even after entering the same address. It always says "You can’t join this plan. Plan members can change plans once every 12 months." And I didn't change my plan. I don't know what's the issue here because one of the other members of the family who has the same criteria like me got the access and I couldn't get in. This is frustrating with no help available except this forum.
