Premium Family Account issue

Premium Family Account issue

Hey Everyone,

My Girlfriend and I share a Premium Family account but we've been running into an issue lately; we can' listen to music at the same time. I already made sure she was on the account and we both logged-off/on to rule out connection issues.

 

I should specify that this happens when she is playing music through Sonos. Most of the time i will be playing music through the computer app and get a  "Spotify has been paused because your account is being used somewhere else."

 

I am not sure where the issue is coming from as we played music separately before.

Anybody experienced something similar?

Welcome to the forums 🙂

 

It sounds like your girlfriend is playing the music on your account instead of hers.

 

Please have her log out and then log back in to Spotify with her details.
